Z-Parasites Mission 3 Stealth Part2 FIN

"Worst way to break into a building ever…" Danner says as he and Katie entered the GG base. They had gotten in through the roof; there wasn't any other way to get in without alerting anyone. What made it so unpleasant for him was that he had to climb up the side, all 8 stories of the building and Katie insisted he carry her on his back. "Couldn't you have climbed up yourself you have claws too." He said stretching his back.

"Are you really complaining about my being on you?" Katie said with "That" kinda tone.

"…..Touché"

They weren't too far from where they needed to be just a few floors above. On his way up Danner had noticed through that there were a few infected people walking around the base in there Symbiote forms. They didn't seem to have any form of identification so he figured as long as he and Katie stayed in there symbiote form they should be able to move around without arousing suspicion. As the two headed for the elevator and door swings open in front of them and Guardians walk out of the room arguing over who make the better peanut butter & jelly sandwiches ,when they spot Katie and Danner standing in front of them.
"Oi, you lot! "One Guardian calls out to them with his heavy British accent "What do ya think you're doing up 'ere"

"Uh…we…uh "Danner tries to explain

"Don't you know you're supposed to stay on the third floor with the other Tamed Recruits? "The Guardian continues

"We got lost looking for the bathroom" Katie says

"Oh is that all? Ah don't worry 'bout that 'appen to me all the time, come on I'll escort you back "The Guardian says "Oi Skull, take this one 'ere back to the other male recruits" He points to Danner. "We keep you lot separated this time of year, Don't want a repeat of last year now do we?"

With that the second Guardian takes Danner down the hall to another elevator and is brought to the third floor.
"Great, now what? I'm past where the server room is" Danner says to Ten
<there's nothing we can do about it now, let's just play along> Ten says

While Danner is being brought to Third Floor, Katie is brought to the sixth floor which, as luck would have it, is the floor sever room is located. " This is where you'll be for now" The guardian points to a Door "Normally you would be put with the rest on the third floor but this time of year infected seem to be a little bit more feisty than usual…..well anyway I've brought you back to where you need to be I'm off, welcome aboard" The Guardian walks away without making sure she went inside the room. Katie couldn't believe her luck, "I only hope Danner is ok" she says as she wanders around the floor. While Katie wanders she runs into an infected she had been told about in her intel.

"who are you" the infected asked

"I'm one of the recruits" Katie replies

"…..No you're not…I was there when the new ones came in"

"….I came late….."

"Again…..that can't be true….this Base doesn't let anyone else in after a batch of new tamed members are brought in…."The infected toke a step closer to Katie "look lady, I don't want to turn you in but I will if you don't tell me who you are."
Katie sighs she knew she didn't have any other choice "I'm a member of Harmony, My name is Katie…"

"Hmmm, My name's Wade" He extends his hand out and She shakes his hand "Now what are you here for."

This was probably the luckiest day in Katie's life. She explained to Wade what she was there for and He showed her to the server room. It turns out Wade doesn't like working for tamed and is more than willing to help Katie. After she gets the Blue prints, Wade tells her that she can escape down a fire escape and Points her in the right direction "Don't worry about opening the window to the fire escape the trigger for alarm that's attached to it has been broken for months and no one's come to fix it yet." He explains
"Thank you Wade," Katie says preparing to leave "I'll return to help you out one day."
"One day soon I hope" He says with a chuckle and the two part ways
Katie finds the fire escape and begins to descend, she gets a few floors down when the wall beneath her breaks open and an Infected jumps out. The alarm next to her goes off suddenly, it so loud that it startles her and she lets go of the ladder  and falls………

MEANWHILE!!

Danner is shown to a door down the hall from the elevator when he gets that same feeling he got outside the base. "There's that feeling again" He thinks to himself
<It's feels like it just beyond this door this time Danner be on your guard>Ten says.
"Yeah…" Danner open the door to find an Infected in symbiote form stand in the middle of a bunch of other infected on the floor that were either dead or dying. The Infected had blade-like bones that extended from its arms that were covered in blood. Then it turn its head and glances and Danner "another one huh?"
Danner is so shocked at this site that he is frozen for a bit. <Danner move it!> Ten yells to snap Danner out of it but it was too late. The other infected had rushed towards him and grabbed him by the throat holding him up "None of you should exist…"  it says pointing it blade at Danner s chest

"Wait…that voice…..Deck is that you!?"Danner says trying to loosen the grip of the Infected

"……How do you know me?" It asks

"It's me…Danner" Danner replies and with that the infected drops Danner to the floor.

"Danner?!...oh….no" Deck turns, runs away, and escapes the base by cutting through a wall.

"Deck, wait!" Danner calls out to the infected but his voice can't be heard through the sounds of the alarm going off and Deck Disappears in to the forest. "Dam it!!!" Danner runs through the hole left by Deck just as Katie falls in front of him and he catches her.

"I've heard of falling for someone but this is ridiculous" Katie says jokingly but the look on Danner's face tells her that this isn't a time for jokes "what's wrong Danner?"

"This was a mission failure," Danner replies" and top it off ...I saw him….He was here…"

"It may not have gone the way it was intended but it was a success" Katie says "But who did you see?"

"………..My Brother…."Danner says

The both of them go silent as Danner carries Katie and runs back to the Harmony Base.
