Mission 5 : Tortoise Boss Battle

   As Hiro ran off to help the generals in their fight against the juggernaut, Danner is

locked in a power struggle with Tortoise. "You came to save you friend, how cute."

Tortoise taunts as he push Danner back. "Wish I could say the same about your face."

Danner pushes back reinstating the stalemate.  "You've got jokes eh?"

Tortoise says with a smirk "Well have you heard this one?" Tortoise shoves Danner away

seemingly winning the power struggle and spreads out his arms "A cat runs in a bar and now

he's deaf "He says palm Slaps Danner ears with great force. Danner roars in pain as he

falls to the floor. He tries to stand but falls over as if he were intoxicated.

Ten- "Dam it Danner what are you doing? This is no time to be screwing around!!"

Danner-"I'm not, I can't keep my balance, that last attack…it damaged the stuff

near my coch thing… gah I can't think with the ringing."    

Ten- "What? You were hit in the head, not down there."  

Danner-"Not that Ten, it's in my ears"

Ten-"…..so you can still have kids right?"   

Danner-"Dam it Ten!!"

     "So what did you think? Funny right" Tortoise taunted standing over Danner as he

struggles to even get to his knees "I wouldn't call it funny so much as stupid like your

face". "Is that all you know? "Tortoise kneels down coming face to face with Danner who

managed to get to his knees propping himself up by arms. " I'm sorry if my comedy isn't

to your liking, I would come up with something better but I seem to have suffered recent

head trauma from an retarded looking ninja turtle".  "Man you just don't know when to

quit do you?" Tortoise stands up "Well seeing as you don't like make things easier for

yourself allow me to make it harder." He stomps down on Danner's left shoulder fracturing

the bone all the way down to his hand. Danner roars in pain as he falls to the ground

once more. "There harder than ever you happy? "Tortoise taunts. "T-thanks…" Danner

says through his teeth.

    "Why didn't you attack when he was in your face?" Ten scolds " You disgracing

me,the strongest parasite to exist."

"Shut it, Ten I would have ended up falling on my face, I'm

waiting fo-.." Tortoise grabs and lifts Danner by his hair before he could finish his

thought. "Any last words before I break your spine in two?" he asks.  Danner let's his

claws do the talking as he slashes Tortoise across the face drawing blood. Tortoise yells

and throws Danner across the street at building in a fit of rage. Danner bounds of the

wall and clumsily lands on his feet.


Danner- "..Good I've recovered enough to somewhat move normally again. It's not perfect but it'll have to do."

Ten- "well go get him. "  

Danner- "Yeah yeah I'm on it."
   
     Danner starts to charges at Tortoise. Tortoise take a peculiar pose raising his arms

as if he were inviting Danner to strike him. Danner lunges forward slashing at Tortoise

but he quickly hops back causing danner to miss and fall into him.  Tortoise turns Danner

around and tries to German suplex him but Danner manages to brace himself with his good

arm and use his claws in the other arm to dig into Tortoise's arm and rip open the hold Tortoise had on

him. Danner flips onto his feet and distances himself from Tortoise. "what's the matter

running any? Am I to strong for you?" Tortoise mocks smirking and ignoring the fact that

he is bleeding immensely from his forearm where Danner sunk his claws into. "I prefer the

term tactical retreat, Besides I couldn't stand being so close to that ugly mug of yours

" Danner retorts. Tortoise grunts and slowly walks towards Danner, the smirk on his face

quickly turning enraged frown upon hear Danner's remark.


"I think that one got to him, finally.." Danner thinks to himself.

"You mean you wanted to piss him off?"  Ten's asked rather confused. "He's been

handing you your ass and you wanted to make him angry, Why in safari zone would you want

to do that??!!"

Danner-"…safari zone?…whatever, remember when those journals Lavy has, the

ones with all the different styles of martial arts?"

Ten- "Wait you actually sat down and read through  all  of those?"   
   
Danner-" Heck no! skimmed those bad boys like a boss… well some of them

anyway….but in the journals with the grappling arts there was one thing that kept

coming up in all of them… patience is key."

Ten-"So….what does that have to do with anything?"

Danner-"This guy is a grappler, and his been patient this whole time.This fight so far

has been on his terms because let me come to him and it always turned out badly for me.

But now he's mad and actually walking towards me for a change….and he thinks I'm

running"

Ten -"…..Who's Lavy again?…."     

Danner-"…..Why do I talk to you?"

     As Tortoise gets closer, Danner takes a boxing pose raising his left arm up to his

chest and swinging his right are in front of him in anticipation of an attack.  Tortoise

raises his arms once again while making his advance and Danner takes a few steps

back.  Tortoise then lunges at Danner with fair speed, arms forward trying to grab

Danner. "Whoa!" Danner says surprised at Tortoise speed. That combined with his balance

still unsteady Danner narrowly dodges to the left and delivers two fast and strong

flicker jabs, whip like punches to Tortoise's face just around his left eye. However

Tortoise just seems brushes these strikes off and continues to chase down Danner. Each

time Tortoise tries to grab Danner, Danner dodges and flicker jabs Tortoise in the same

place around his eye. Tortoise gets visibly more and more irritated as Danner barely

manages to evade him. He gets so annoyed to the point that doesn't notice his eye has

become swollen from all of Danner's flicker jabs, so swollen that it came to the point

where seeing out of it has become practically impossible.  Tortoise lunges for Danner

once more but to no avail, as Danner manages dodges into the darkness of Tortoise's newly

gained blind side.
      
      "Where did you go you bastard!!!" Tortoise yells looking around but can't seem to

find Danner. Then suddenly Tortoise receives slash in his left mid-section. Blood spills

from his side as Tortoise He turns to where it came from but sees nothing. While he's

focused on looking to his left Danner slashes Tortoise in his right thigh. Tortoise falls

to his knees as blood rapidly seeps from his wounds. Danner, seeing an opportunity to

finish the fight, rushes Tortoise from the front and thrusts his claws at Tortoise , but

his balance begins to fail him once again as he misses Tortoise and falls into him.

Tortoise, seizing the opportunity presented, wraps his arms around Danner, takes to the

sky and comes down body slamming Danner breaking a most of Danners ribs. Danner roars out

in pain as blood gushes from his mouth. Tortoise stands over a seemingly defeated Danner

staring back up at him.
     
          "Looks like the ugly TMNT reject, just kicked your ass!" Tortoise says panting,

tired from losing so much blood " ….wait weren't your eyes yellow a second ago?". As

Tortoise say's that Danner springs up at him roaring , his eyes Blood red. Tortoise

tries to avoid Danner but can't escape from his extreme speed. Danner claws and slashes

Tortoise's chest rapidly, drawing more and more blood. Tortoise tries to restrain Danner

by putting him in a rear choke hold but Danner just snarls as his sinks his fangs into

Tortoise's arm and claws at his shoulders. Tortoise yells and tosses Danner across the

street to get Danner away but lands on both his arms and rushes back at Tortoise. Danner

lunges but Tortoise manages to dodge him and hurls him through a wall into a building.

"Jesus, this guy is crazy go nuts" Tortoise says panting standing there in small puddle

of his own blood " I'm getting the heck out of here, no way am I staying here to fight

that thing." his says as he scurries off. Danner emerges from the rubble of the wall

,holding his head.

" What the, how did I up here…"he says puzzled "wait where's that turtle jerk". He

looks around but Tortoise is no where to be found, only the small puddle and a trail of

blood leading down the street.  

Ten - "Your lucking danner…. Feral mode just saved you.."

"I see…."Danner says as he shuffles out of the rubble and begins his slow hobble

back to base. "Jesus my arm hurts, I think I screwed it up more during the feral state"

Ten- " …….Oh now I remember who Lavy is"

Danner- "…are you kidding me …"
